The Not Right Bar There’s no better way to spend a day enjoying a relaxed and neighbourly atmosphere, sharing a drink with friends or strangers alike than in the New York New York in the heart of the Gay Village. The kindly people that gather here share cut price drinks, listen to a great selection of music from the juke box or maybe enjoy a game of pool. You can sit alone and read your paper or maybe join in on watching major sporting events on the big screen. Regulars who fondly call this the ‘Not Right Bar’ welcome people of any age and from all walks of life. You’ll receive service with a smile from our friendly staff seven days a week. The Club If you are looking for a good night out, there is nowhere better than the New York New York Club, one of Manchester’s foremost gay venues. Many things may have changed in the village but when you walk into the New York New York Club, the essence is always the same. A mixed gay, straight, friendly crowd will show you good times, frolics, and frivolity, a party to which everyone is invited. The mood is enhanced by our resident DJs – Gareth, Marvin, and Dee Jay, all with their musical ears firmly to the ground. The music ranges from the ubiquitous cheesy handbag to the latest chart music. Why not engage yourself on our karaoke nights (Sunday, Tuesday & Wednesday) where you can sing anything from kitsch to country. Function Suite New York New York has the most amazing function suite which caters for all occasions. The whole floor is self contained with private toilets, seperate entrance, sound proofed and has it's very own fully stocked bar. The entertainment can be whatever you require, as we are very accomodating and with up to 120 capacity - it's certainly the venue you might want to consider.
